An extension of the adjustable “C” series click-type wrenches, these heavy duty models pick up in torque capacity where the standard sized wrenches leave off. It is intended for very large threaded fastener applications; oil rigs, trucks, AG & off-road equipment, etc. they also exceed the accuracy and range defined by the ASME Standards. Calibrated to ±3% CW and ±5% CCW of scale, they provide the accuracy required of critical larger assemblies with high torque values.
DTS wrenches feature 3/4 and 1 inch drive sizes with a heavy duty 24-tooth ratchet head for long-lasting service. The permanent laser etched micrometer adjustment scale is in both English (ft-lb) and Metric (Nm) units and is easy to read and provides direct setting conversion. Torque range from 50-1,000 ft-lbs and 67 to 1356 Nm.
All “C”series torque wrenches exceed the accuracy and range specified in ASME B107.14-2004. Factory calibration is performed on a torque standard that is traceable to the National Institute and Standards Technology (N.I.S.T.). Actual torque readings and individual serial numbers are included on the calibration certificate for 100% traceability.
